The border of the Golden Valley is from Hay-on-Wye in the north to Ewyas Harold in the south, and the Welsh border to the west and the Wye River to the east in the county of Herefordshire. It has 24 Parishes divided into nine Parish Administrative Groups and two District Council Wards.
